Dr. J. Edward Stern, M.D., a neurologist, and Dr. Helen M.C. Stern, Ph.D., a psychologist, lived and practiced in the healing arts for more than 40 years in El Paso. In 1992, they established a foundation to address medical and general needs in the El Paso region. The J. Edward and Helen M.C. Stern Foundation has been a Donor Partner of the El Paso Community Foundation since 2003.
